Noopl looks like another interesting hardware startup to come out CES The first day. The Sacramento-based company has designed an accessory that it says can help flush out background noise for users in fast environments.

A minor accessory sports a Lightning plug (it’s currently iOS only), which connects to the bottom of an iPhone. The small dongle consists of a trio of microphones, coupled with an audio signal processor designed to reduce background noise.

The app can be used to widen the direction beam and adjust the volume.

The company was founded by Steven Verdooner and Kevin Snow, based on technology from Sydney’s National Acoustic Laboratories (NAL).
