Lenovo today released its new pair of sleek and lightweight AR Glass called Think Reality A3. The specs can connect your PC or Motorola phone via a USB-C cable – but sadly, it’s still just for enterprise customers.
The headset is powered by Qualcomm’s XR1 mixed-reality platform. It has a 1080p stereoscopic display for each eye lens. this is Dual fish-eye cameras to track and map your surroundings. Also, an 8-megapixel 1080p camera that sits just above the tip of your nose to stream your idea to remote teams.
Lenovo says that you can fold these glasses like any sunglasses and keep them in your bag. It will also supply a carrying case with the equipment.
There are two versions of these glasses. The PC version plugs into your system and is designed to provide a virtual monitor experience; You can line up five of them. It can display your existing applications on these large virtual monitors without taking up physical space.

It seems that this is great for professionals working from home and there is no room for additional monitors. But the A3 will not come cheap and means that freelancers or creative people may not yet be able to use one.
There is also an industrial version that allows you to select the headset as a Motorola phone and lets you perform your tasks in AR. This will enable those who work on the factory floor or manufacturing line, to take stock of a large number of operations while in place. Also, you can add additional lenses on the front for eye protection.
Lenovo faces other players in the enterprise market such as Microsoft and Google. However, this assumes that now is a good time to be around this market and not switch to the consumer side.
Nathan Pettijon, the commercial lead for AR and VR at the company, said that we will integrate AR into the work over the next few years:
In the next three to five years, we will see that the ability to use augmented reality anywhere and everywhere will grow exponentially. Also, the powerful chipset and 5G rollout will allow us to create more use cases from this technology.
The company plans to ship this product by mid-2021. We do not yet know the pricing details of the ThinkLority A3, but given that the A6 was priced above $ 2,000, the new device will not be cheap.
Do you know that we have a newspaper about consumer technology? This is called a plug-in –
