After months of negotiations between privacy advocates and the digital marketing community, Apple is finally releasing its iOS 14.5 update.

With the update, when users open an app (such as Facebook) on their iPhone, they will receive a notification from the App Tracking Transparency Tool whether they want to continue allowing that app to track their activity on other sites.

Spotify Launch Podcast Subscription Service

Spotify announced that they would soon allow creators to charge listeners for content through a monthly subscription. Manufacturers can choose between 3 pricing levels, $ 2.99, 5.99, and $ 7.99.

Spotify will not cut revenue from these subscriptions, but will charge a 5% fee starting in 2023.
